Diameter 10 ⅜ inches.Writtle Lodge, also known as Great Waterhouse, was built on the River Can by George Bramston in 1712. Later it became the seat of the Fortescue family. The village of Writtle, two miles west of Chelmsford, was the birthplace of Robert I (1274-1329), popularly known as Robert the Bruce, King of Scots from 1306 until his death in 1329.
