Of pear form, the grooved C-scroll handle with scrolled terminal, applied overall with daisies on a blue slip ground, the cover with ball thumb piece and engraved with the initials “CF.” Height 13 ¼ inches. Together with a Westerwald saltglaze stoneware cobalt blue and manganese purple-decorated tankard, 1700-30, molded with a flowering vine within double heart borders. Height 7 ¼ inches. (2)
