The first reserved on both sides with a leaf-shaped panel, one side painted with a four-clawed dragon and flaming pearl emerging from the waves, and the other with a carp leaping toward the sun; the second vase painted on one side with a bird perched on a branch and on the other with a flowering lotus, all reserved on a cracked-ice ground with lotus and pearls repeated on the covers. Heights 7 ¼ and 8 ½ inches.
