Comprising 12 forks and 12 knives, each fork handle engraved on both sides with tall flowering vines, the shield-shaped handle terminals depicting different views of buildings, four marked for an unknown master (English, “PYA,” (Postnikova-Loseva #354), eight marked for the master (English, “M.H.”); the knives on both sides with baskets of tall flower stems, the master (English, “M.H.”); and 7 spoons, Moscow, each handle richly engraved with scrolling vinery and ruffled scrolls, five assayed by Chumakov Mikhail Pavlovich, three 1841 and two 1844, the master (English, “M.H.”); two assayed by Nikolay Dubrovin 1840, master (English, “eu,”), each fork fully marked on the end of the handle, the spoons in the middle of each handle, and on each knife blade and ferule. 50 oz.
