Depicting three gentlemen smoking and drinking in a room with a door and window, the tables set with a stoneware ale jug, punch bowl and black glass bottles. 20 x 41 inches.The Young-Cobleigh-Hanno Tavern, situated in Lisbon, New Hampshire along the Ammonoosuc River, was one of the largest taverns and stagecoach stops on the route through the White Mountain region. The tavern was also the site of the original fort in the valley, and was incorporated into the structure of the house.
