Covered in turquoise glaze and painted in black on the interior with a stylized geometric-patterned roundel, the deeply scalloped rim with a dot and line border, the exterior with two bands. Diameter 5 ⅝ inches.

Provenance: Affixed with an old paper label inscribed in ink “46/ A LANE/ CATALOGUE/ SULTANABAD/ 13TH C.” and an oval label printed “ORIENTAL CERAMIC SOCY./ 1950 EXHIB N./” with handwritten “75.”
