Each painted en grisaille with a pair of cattle in a landscape of pine trees and distant mountains, beneath a rouge-de-fer floral, leaf and scroll border, the teapot cover painted with a large flowerhead within a matching border, the milk jug cover associated. Together with a Batavia ware teapot and cover, 1720-50, reserved with butterflies and panels of peonies on a cafe au lait ground. Height 5 ¼ inches. (3)
