Chased and repousse with landscape panels of figures at leisure in pavilions and warriors engaged in battle, the handle a cast dragon and the finial a dragon’s head, reserved with a shield engraved “Presented to C.T. Smith Esq. as a token of esteem by J.W. Paul, F.G. Lucas, G.G. Berry, J. Steele, Jr.” Apparently unmarked. Weighted. Height 14 ¼ inches.
