Both jugs banded in purple lustre, the first printed on one side with the portrait and inscription “Captain JONES of the Macedonian,” and on the other side with the portrait and inscription “Captain HULL of the Constitution,” height 6 ¼ inches; the second printed on one side with the portrait of “LAWRENCE” and inscription “don’t surrender the ship,” and on the other side with the portrait of “DECATOR,” height 4 ½ inches.
