Printed with a bust-length portrait of General Lafayette within the inscription “WELCOME LA FAYETTE THE NATIONS GUEST AND OUR COUNTRY’S GLORY,” the rim molded with foliate scrolls suspending floral swags, the blue-heightened shaped edge molded with a border of darts, impressed factory mark and numeral “2.” Diameter 7 ⅝ inches.
