Moses Walrath (1796-1866), a veteran of the War of 1812 and grandson of Henry I. Walrath, who fought in the American Revolutionary War, is recorded with his wife Margaret (b. 1797) and their eight children amid hearts, a pineapple and floral border. Watercolor and ink on paper, 14 ¼ x 10 ¼ inches, sight.
