Watercolor on paper, 21 ½ x 29 ¾ inches. Signed “Andrew Wyeth” l.l. Accompanied by the original bill of sale and correspondence regarding the painting, including several handwritten notes by the artist, one in which he describes “The Peavey” as among his best watercolors.

Provenance: Purchased directly from the artist at The Mill, Chadds Ford, Pennsylvania, September 1965.
